Brendan, Rich and J.M. have been extremely busy looking at lots of awesome projects and properties and we can assure you that in 2010 Ardden will be a force in the comic book publishing world.

Flash Gordon : The Mercy Wars - the first six issue mini series - sold an amazing 45,000 copies. Casper #1 reached the top 200 comics sold in October and issue 2 and 3 look like they'll hit the top 200 again.

In 2009 Ardden was voted the second best new publisher by Diamond's retailers -- which we really do thank them for the votes. We'd also like to say a big thanks to you, the reader, for supporting our titles and we hope you're enjoying them!!

As 2010 progresses we'll be announcing new titles -- some we just can't wait to show the comic fans. There's several comic conventions we'll be offering exclusive first looks at -- including Bristol, UK and the amazing NYC Comic Con in October 2010.

The much loved and critically acclaimed, Flash Gordon, written by Brendan Deneen, will get a second mini series - Invasion of the Red Sword - in April. The reason for the delay is that we've been searching high and low for a new artist.

Richard and new up and coming talent, Carlos Zuniga have started work on a brand new series with an up and coming writer as well as working on two graphic novels for a book publisher.

Our E-I-C, J.M. DeMatteis, is once again behind the steering wheel of the Ardden bandwagon. J.M. will be writing his creator-owned mini-series, The Merlin Prophecies, this year. The NYCC exclusive issue zero sold extremely well at the 2009 NYC Comic Con and fans wowed at Loren Meyers' fabulous artwork.
